A cozy watch, never a spooky one
Soot is the sixth resident we've visited in Hollowmere Manor — a small black cat who keeps to the manor's highest tower, with an old brass telescope he never quite uses and a weather vane shaped almost like him. There's no bad-luck superstition here, just a very patient nightwatch cat, a round window, and a whole sleepy valley to watch settle in for the night.
What's in this episode
Two hours of soft narration and a gentle lullaby theme, following Soot from the first golden windows across the valley to the last light going dark, and on into a wide, starry, sleeping sky.
