A Sleepy Koala's Very Quiet Afternoon

Somewhere in Yawnwood, where the eucalyptus trees grow tall and soft with afternoon light, a little koala named Willow has just one job today: to fall asleep.

This is the first episode of Yawnwood โ€” a new Midnight Library series of gentle, soft-voiced bedtime stories, one sleepy animal at a time. It's a 6-hour journey with a calming voice and an original lullaby theme, made to help little ones (and grown-ups) drift off.

A new series: Yawnwood

Yawnwood is a gentler, softer companion to our History for Sleep and Sleep Stories collections โ€” warm animal characters, a tender voice, and an original melodic lullaby underneath every episode.

Six hours, built like a lullaby

Rather than one long unbroken story, this episode is built like a song โ€” a handful of gentle verses about Willow's quiet afternoon, and a soft repeating chorus, cycling slowly for six hours so it can carry a listener all the way through the night.
